Hida-Takayama Ramen!

Have you ever tried ramen?
The only dish you can taste at this restaurant 'Masago' is ramen.
There's no other dishes on the menu.


The dark colored soup and the curly noodles go very well together!
You should try if you have a chance to come to Takayama City!

飛騨高山にある「まさごそば」で出されるメニューは「中華そば」のみ！
ほかに何もありません。

黒っぽいスープとちぢれ麺が良く合います。
高山市に来る機会があればぜひお立ち寄りください！

Soba in Azumino

Azumino, Nagano Prefecture.

'Jonen' (常念), the soba restaurant is in the middle of a large, quiet rice fields.
You can easily overlook the restaurant because it looks like an ordinary old house.


The hostess of the restaurant was very nice, and of course, the soba was just exquisite!!

Why don't you visit here? You'll definitely be a repeat customer just like me!

長野県、安曇野。
常念というお蕎麦屋さんは大きな田んぼの真ん中にひっそりと佇んでいます。
古民家なので見落としてしまいそう。
そこの女性のお店の方はとても親切で、また、もちろんここのおそばは絶品です！
一度いらしてはいかがですか？リピーターになること間違いなし！

Kakigori (shaved ice with syrup)!!!
You can't survive the hot summer in Japan without this!
There are many kinds of syrup you can choose from:
mactha, strawberry, lemon, melon, milk flavors etc...


This one is the matcha flavor with red beans on top.
Yummy!

かき氷。
日本の暑い夏を乗り切るにはやっぱりこれは欠かせません！
抹茶味、イチゴ味、レモンにメロンにミルクに・・・いろいろありますね！
この紗品のものは抹茶にあずきをトッピング。
美味しそう〜！

Unagi (eel) Donburi!!
One of the most favorite Japanese dishes!


The summer in Japan is really, really hot, so people eat eels to survive the severe season because eels are considered to be a very nutritious food.

And actually they taste soooo gooood!!!

鰻丼！
大好きな日本の料理です。

日本の夏は本当に暑いのでみんなこれを食べて夏を乗り切ります。うなぎには栄養がたっぷりと言われているので。

なによりもうなぎは美味しいですからね！

Now is the best season for oysters in Japan!
Now around Japan, there are a lot of events where you can enjoy the local oysters.

The oysters in the pic, they were only 100 yen per one plate!
@ Oyster festival in Tatsuno City, Hyogo prefecture on Jan.25.
